I would like to apologize for keeping so quiet all this time. I have been very busy with a new job I took back in mid-July. Given my schedule and the nature of work I do, I oftentimes come home worn out and ready to just kick back and have fun. So I have sort of unconsciously taken something of a sabbatical from a lot of things, including and especially fansubbing.
To our fans, I know you would dearly love to know what we have cooking, but right now, as I stated above, some things simply take priority. However, I am always on the lookout for things to work on.
And for those groups with which I have been participating, I would also like to apologize for being away for so long without a word.
There are things in life to which one must pay attention. Since a regular job came along after two years’ worth of freelancing (translation: irregular income intervals) after my last employer closed its doors, I had little choice but to focus my efforts on my job. In these gloomy economic times, if you have a job or just started one, be thankful. And for those who are still seeking work, I wish you the very best.
However, not all is gloomy. I just finished the main preparations for spending Christmas with my family and friends up in Sacramento. I am very excited to head up there again to see family as well as some friends I do not get to see much anymore since having moved to Fresno nearly seven and a half years ago.
I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season regardless of which religious faith you profess, even if it is none.
And for heaven’s sake, please do not drink and drive!

The word is that CLANNAD ~AFTER STORY~ is now licensed by Sentai Films, division of ADV Films, so we have removed the torrents. I sincerely apologize for not getting the latter half of the series out in time; life just recently took a major turn, notably just started a new job.
Thank you for all your support throughout this time. And here’s to hoping that we get a good commercial release of CLANNAD ~AFTER STORY~. I cannot pass judgment on Sentai’s release of CLANNAD since I have not seen it. However, given everything I have heard about that release, the show was more or less left alone, save subtitles, and at this point, has not been dubbed. And I prefer my Japanese entertainment to be just that. Japanese. </editorialize>

It’s a conundrum so complex, it’s best if you just watched the show. It’s a nail-biter from start to finish! It’s up in the usual spots, so go get it!

I know you’ve been supporting and cajoling us about widescreen episodes.
I have some good news to report.
We are gearing up to release the first half of the series very soon.
We are also waiting on the final volume so we can conclude the series as well as give you Kyou’s route, which a lot of people have been anxious to watch. So keep an eye out on this space very soon for cool things to come!

Additional note: The H.264 release is a “scope” release, meaning it’s anamorphic, whereas the Xvid release will be “flat”, meaning the in-file and on-screen aspect ratios should match.

Sorry about the brief absence of the domain. This and that happened in real life where I couldn’t make the payment for the domain on time, but we’re back!
Anyway, we are still gearing up for the widescreen versions. We managed to get a clean version of the first of several versions of the closing sequence, so we can do credits like we did for CLANNAD.

Now, we take you WAY way back, like a year before the events of the original CLANNAD series with CLANNAD ~AFTER STORY~ episode 23.
This was when Tomoya, Sunohara, and the Fujibayashis were in their second year of high school and Nagisa’s first instance of her third year. The former two were quite a chore for the elder Fujibayashi to keep reined in. And you get to see Nagisa before she started taking those steps up the hill thanks to Tomoya. What was she like then? You’ll have to watch and find out!
